Support from home
No waiting room and no unfamiliar building. You settle into your own space, which can make difficult things easier to say.
Online counselling, across the UK
The same warm, person-centred counselling I offer in Skipton and Keighley, by secure video instead. You join from wherever you feel most at ease, and we work together exactly as we would in the room.
Plenty of people assume therapy only really works face to face. In practice, a good online session feels much the same. We still see each other, still talk openly, and still build a steady, trusting relationship over time. For a lot of people, being somewhere familiar makes it easier to open up. If you're a highly sensitive person, I also offer dedicated therapy for highly sensitive people, online across the UK.
No waiting room and no unfamiliar building. You settle into your own space, which can make difficult things easier to say.
No traffic, parking or long drive across the Dales. The hour is yours, without the journey on either side of it.
A lunch break, a quiet hour at home, a day working away. Online makes it simpler to keep sessions going around a full life.
You do not need to live near Skipton. As long as you have a private spot and a connection, we can work together.
Moving, travelling or unwell? Online means our work does not have to stop and start. We simply keep going.
Sessions are held over a secure, encrypted video link, with the same confidentiality as meeting in person.
We start with a free 20-minute video call, so you can try the format and we can see if working together feels right.
Before each session I send a simple, secure link. You click it at our agreed time, no apps to wrestle with.
Anywhere private where you will not be interrupted. A comfortable chair, a closed door, and we begin.
There is nothing technical to set up and nothing to buy. If you can make a video call to a friend, you can do this.
Curious whether online counselling could work for you? The easiest way to find out is to try a short, no-pressure call. We just talk, and you decide.
